Choice Words
Choice Words is an initiative intended as an outlet for feminist creatives at Critical Mass to create awareness around sexism and stereotypes. Each Choice Words shirt features a different design from a different creative in our agency. As part of the creative team for the 2021 campaign, I designed a limited print run T-shirt with all proceeds being donated to UN Women for International Women’s Day.
Out Loud!
Out Loud! was created as a way for LGBTQIA+ members & allies to use their voices in support of everyone’s right to live proud and free. Similarly to Choice Words, I designed a limited edition graphic T-shirt to celebrate Pride 2021. All profits from the purchase of these T-shirts were donated to four key LGBTQIA+ organizations: Transgender Law Center, Rainbow Railroad, Stonewall UK, and UN Free & Equal.
Tam Cúc
Initially born from a conversation I once had with my mother reminiscing about the New Year’s parties from my youth, I set out to redesign this classic Vietnamese card game with a completely re-imagined graphic style. Tam Cúc is a simple trick-taking game consisting of 32 cards and translates to “Three Chrysanthemums” in English. Inspired by pre-colonial Vietnamese pottery and art, I created a deck of Tam Cúc cards with new illustrations and a custom-sized tuck box, complete with a gold foil seal.
